by Brian Belmont, General Manager
Monday, August 1 is a noteworthy date for us at the Beach Club. This year August 1 will mark 36 years that our Office Manager, Kim Bond, has worked for LMC. Kim has seen so many changes in the North Bay community and has interacted with thousands of our members since she began her Beach Club career in 1986.
Kim has known grandparents, parents, and grandchildren of many of our members’ families. I cannot imagine how many times she has listened to the kids in the outdoor pool play “Marco Polo” during her tenure.
I still enjoy Kim’s stories of the “old days” of Port Ludlow when North Bay had several hundred fewer homes than we have now and before the Beach Club went through a couple of transformations. It always surprises me when she rattles off the names of members that were on the Board or a committee 30 years ago.
I have had the pleasure of working with Kim for the past 17 years, and I’m still amazed with Kim’s ability to multitask without missing a beat. Kim’s outgoing nature, strong work ethic, compassion, and her willingness to help where help is needed has served our community well for a long time.
So, when you see Kim, please congratulate her, and thank her for all she has done for this community—it has been a job well done!!
