Now Enrolling ~Summer Youth Theater Programs

Key City Public Theatre youth education is expanding and we are excited to now offer programs in Quilcene, as well as Port Townsend this summer.
There’s a place for every student at Key City Public Theatre!

Join instructors Brendan Chambers, Maggie Jo Bulkley and now Bry Kifolo for some fun theater education outdoors!

Week long Intensives in Port Townsend
Our summer intensives will give your student a dive deep in the Art of Play. They will be immersed in a variety of performance techniques. Each day will focus on new dramatic skills: improvisation, stage combat, clown/mime, vocal technique, dance/movement, scene work and character development.
Ages 5-7 With special guest instructor Consuelo Aduviso-Brennan July 5th – 9th, 9am12pm.
Ages 8-12 July 19th – 23rd 10am – 3pm

Two Day Theater Workshops in Quilcene
This August workshop is great for both beginners as well as students with a performance background. Through our many interactive games and activities, students will have the opportunity to learn techniques in improvisation, mime, dance/movement, storytelling and character development. We will also rehearse a short performance piece that students will perform for their peers and family at the end of the second day.

Bry Kifolo joins KCPT as Production Stage Manager and Teaching Artist. After graduating college, Bry Kifolo was as an assistant instructor during summer workshops at Key City Public Theatre in 2018 and 2019 before being offered a position as a teaching assistant at Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble. During her time at BTE she focused on cultivating and implementing a yearlong theater education curriculum for the North Central Secure Treatment Unit School. Full Bio
