What is Qigong?

Qigong is a gentle holistic still and moving meditation practice that coordinates body movement, breath, mind activity, and Qi energy. Known as one of the most powerful ancient energy practices, it is an easy, practical method of using gentle movements, postures, and breathing exercises to increase vitality, dissolve tension, and relieve pain. It can be modified for any physical state and even five minutes a day can have a positive effect.

People practice Qigong to improve health, but additional reported benefits include increased energy, mobility, and relaxation (especially in the neck, shoulders, lower back, and hips), improved ability to focus the mind, a brighter outlook, and an increased sense of well-being.
