On April 16 LMC held its 54 th Annual Membership Meeting. LMC has not held an “in person” Annual meeting since 2019, so we were pleased to have our members back in attendance this year. Due to article submission dead- lines, I’m not able to provide the meeting voting results here but our members can view them on LMC’s website LMCBeachClub.org. Following the Annual Meeting, the Board of Trustees elected new Board officers which are also posted on our website https://lmcbeachclub.com/.

New Meeting Room Policy

A rare working agreement between the Ludlow Maintenance Commission (AKA the North Bay) and the South Bay Community Association was unveiled in February, allowing officially designated Community Organizations free access to meeting rooms at both Club houses. That access includes both the smaller meeting rooms and the larger Auditorium/Bayview rooms. Scheduling will be done on a 50/50 basis, so each Club hosts the same number of meetings each month.

Update from the Manager — April 2022

With the arrival of Spring, things are starting to feel more normal than they have in more than two years. LMC will hold its 54th Annual Membership Meeting on Saturday, April 16 and for the first time since the pandemic started, we will hold the Annual Meeting in person at the Beach Club. At this year’s meeting our members will vote to fill four open Board positions and have an opportunity to vote on proposed amendments to the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws.

Beach Club, LMC Update — Feb 2022

On April 16, LMC will hold its 54 th Annual Membership Meeting. Unfortunately, with the recent uptick of Covid cases in our county, it’s too early to tell if this year’s meeting will be held remotely or in person. At the meeting, our North Bay membership will be asked to vote on proposed amendments to the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws. The proposed amendments are being brought forward by the Board of Trustees in order to keep the two governing documents consistent with the Revised Code of Washington statutes that regulate how homeowner associations function.

Budget and voting material will be mailed to all LMC members by December 1.
